Reid Reverses Course Says House Should Start Impeachment Inquiry Of Trump

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has said he believes now is the right time for the House to begin an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

In an interview with USA Today, Reid reversed course on previous statements saying he didn’t think it was a good use of Congress’ time.

Reid pointed to allegations in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report that some have asserted amount to high crimes and misdemeanors.

Reid said he thinks this is the reason an inquiry should go forward and to “find out how the public reacts.”
