Resort On Mount Charleston Under New Management

The Resort on Mount Charleston will soon come under new ownership, as the property was sold Thursday to hoteliers based in North Carolina.

Colin and Deanna Crossman bought the Resort from the Siegel Group for $4.8 million.

The Resort on Mount Charleston is a 64-room property on Kyle Canyon Road, which faced foreclosure after the economy crashed amidst the Great Recession.

Deanna Crossman said Las Vegas locals will be the target clientele, for those looking to ski in the winter or to escape the heat in the summer.

They will make other changes that include overhauling the menus, expanding the bar hours and making structural upgrades that would include new furniture, bathrooms, paint and flooring in the guest room.
