Reno City Council Expected To Decide Strip Club Ordinance This Week

The city of Reno will reconsider this week whether to force strip clubs out of its downtown area.

In a 5-2 vote in September, the Reno City Council directed staff to write new ordinances that would force the clubs to move into industrial areas within five years.

But city staff eventually pulled the strip club issue off the planning commission agenda. On Wednesday, the council will vote on whether to continue to pursue the ordinance changes.
