Utah Rep Wants Online Sex Ed In Utah Schools

A Utah state representative is drafting a bill to address sex education in Utah Schools.

Justin Fawson, a Republican from North Ogden, wants the state’s sex education curriculum to be tailored to individual students, by creating a series of web-based lessons as an alternative to classroom instruction.

Fawson told the Salt Lake Tribune that the web lessons would give parents control over the type of sex education they want their child to have.

Fawson is a conservative Republican who said the measure would not include a move toward a more comprehensive sex education.
