CCSD Police Address Pepper-Spray Incident At High School Football Game

Clark County School District Police Captain Ken Young addressed the public Monday about officers using pepper spray during a high school football game on Friday.

Officers used pepper spray to break up a fight that happened on the field at a Canyon Springs and Basic High School football game.

It was a particularly tense game, with referees assessing 36 penalties, including 19 personal fouls and four Canyon Springs players ejected.

There were no arrests made at the time and officers are following up on the investigation.
