A man from Kingman has broken the land sailing speed record.
The Mohave Daily News reports Scott Young piloted a wheeled vehicle with a sail attached over the Ivanpah Dry Lake near the Nevada-California border on Thursday.
Young's craft reached speeds of 65 mph – all powered by the wind – which broke a record set four years ago.
