LAS VEGAS (AP) — A county spokesman says 44 hybrid cars will be on the block at a weekend government surplus auction of vehicles, bicycles, furniture, computers and airport lost-and-found items.
Clark County is giving prospective buyers a chance to check out the merchandise before bidding starts at 8 a.m. Saturday.
A preview and pre-registration runs Wednesday through Friday at the same location as the auction — near Dog Fancier's Park on Stephanie Street and East Flamingo Road.
The county says 270 vehicles including Honda Accords and Civics, Toyota Priuses and Ford Escapes will be offered, along with lots of items used or acquired by area police departments, cities, the state, the Clark County School District and other entities.
Also listed are unclaimed items from the McCarran International Airport lost-and-found.
