Donald Trump was expected to win Nevada’s Republican caucuses, but now it’s official.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports around 2:30 this morning, with all precincts in, Trump was announced the winner with nearly 46 percent of the vote.
Senator Marco Rubio took second place with almost 24 percent, closely followed by Senator Ted Cruz with more than 21 percent.

Some states have a winner-take-all caucus setup, but Nevada divides its delegates proportionally. Any candidate who receives more than 3.3 percent of the vote is eligible.
While Trump won almost half the delegates, even Ben Carson and Ohio Governor John Kasich with their single-digit vote percentages will have some Nevada representation at the national convention.
