Cox cable subscribers in Las Vegas [are still unable to] can no longer access CBS affiliate television station KLAS on channel 8.
The station said on its website that the service officially stopped just before midnight Saturday with the expiration of its contract with the cable company.
KLAS says that Cox refused to pay "fair market value," especially when compared with what it pays to stations such as ESPN.
Both parties have been negotiating for months over how much Cox should pay the legacy broadcaster.
Cox officials said in an email to customers that KLAS was unrealistic for seeking a rate increase three times the current price.
The stoppage means Cox subscribers will likely have to find another way to watch the Super Bowl, which airs on CBS on Feb. 7.
