The Elko Regional Airport is looking to lease more of its land to generate more revenue.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports the airport is reviewing and updating its master plan in order to receive more federal funding.
Part of that review includes putting more of the airport's land up for lease.
Further plans include purchasing new snow removal equipment to replace some that broke in 2011, and to rename a recently expanded runway to better reflect its new magnetic heading.
