Downtown Roads Closed For MLK Day Parade

The community will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with its annual parade Monday, January 18.

The parade will force closures along several streets downtown. The route is along 4th Street from Gass Ave. to Stewart Ave. As a result, 4 th Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The parade begins at 10 a.m.

If you’re planning to go downtown to watch the parade the city of Las Vegas advises the following places to park:

Neonopolis: Free for the first hour, $1 per hour after that, $5 maximum per day

Old Downtown Transportation Center Behind The Mob Museum: $1 per hour, $5 maximum per day

Street Parking: Free on holidays
