No Hitches During LV New Year's Celebrations

The New Year arrived in Las Vegas without any hitches.

The Las Vegas Sun estimated the crowds along the Strip and Fremont Street as close to a third of a million in size. 

There were roughly a thousand uniformed police along the Strip and another four hundred patrolling downtown.

Metro reported a total of just ten arrests as of this morning.

Roads closed for the celebration have since reopened.
