Gaming Chairman Resigns

The long-time chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission officially resigned. Yesterday, Governor Brian Sandoval announced Las Vegas attorney Pete Bernhard will not seek reappointment and will resign at the end of the month.

Dr. Tony Alamo, a Las Vegas doctor will take over as chairman. Former Southern Nevada Water Authority manager Pat Mulroy is also joining the board.
