The Clark County District Attorney's office says the Metro officer who shot the wrong suspect was justified in the shooting. In a report published Wednesday, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson says the man who was wounded ignored the officer's commands and made movements consistent with reaching for a weapon.
The shooting took place last October at a 7-Eleven in the area of Nellis Boulevard and Steward Avenue. According to investigators, Officer Jason Evans approached Antoine Hodges because the man resembled the suspect in a double slaying that took place two miles away the night before.
