Tear Gas, Rubber Bullets Used In Protests In Reno, Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police in Las Vegas used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse protesters late Sunday, ending a fourth night of protests of the death of a Minnesota man in police custody.

Hours earlier, Gov. Steve Sisolak and others condemned what Reno's mayor called weekend rioting that damaged buildings including city hall.

Police in the state's two largest cities reported more than 200 arrests during demonstrations that turned violent after dark, leading to activation of the National Guard and a curfew in Reno that expired early Monday.
