The owner of the Alpine Motel Apartments along with fire and smoke detector installers face a negligence lawsuit connected with the fire last year that killed six residents.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the suit filed Monday lists Adolfo Orozco as a co-defendant with EDS Electronics, TSI Sales & Installation, Stanley Security Solutions and Cooper Wheelock.
An inspection of the building after the fire turned up more than 40 fire code violations, including fire alarms and smoke detectors that were not working properly.
