Sisolak Say It Is Too Early To Tell If Virus Mitigation Efforts Are Working

Gov. Steve Sisolak says it is too early to say when coronavirus cases will peak in Nevada.

The governor made the comments during a briefing with an infectious disease doctor that was livestreamed on Facebook Thursday night.

Sisolak also suggested the state might tighten restrictions to get more people to follow social distancing guidelines.

The infectious disease doctor was Dr. Shadaba Asad, the director of infectious disease at University Medical Center. She said it is too early to tell if Nevada’s efforts to stop the spread of the disease are working.
