Officials Break Ground On East Las Vegas Library

Students and community leaders broke ground Thursday on the East Las Vegas Library, which some call an overdue addition to the city’s urban core.

Along with a free-to-use computer lab, the $30 million library will provide workforce and small-business development services.

It’s also expected to offer more than 1,000 learning programs a year to the heavily Hispanic and immigrant East Las Vegas community.
