Students and community leaders broke ground Thursday on the East Las Vegas Library, which some call an overdue addition to the city’s urban core.
Along with a free-to-use computer lab, the $30 million library will provide workforce and small-business development services.
It’s also expected to offer more than 1,000 learning programs a year to the heavily Hispanic and immigrant East Las Vegas community.
