Titus Doesn't Rule Out Run Against Heller

Nevada Congresswoman Dina Titus is not ruling out challenging incumbent Republican Sen. Dean Heller in next year's election.

National Journal reports Titus is weighing a bid against Nevada's senior senator, saying the race is "pretty wide open."

The magazine reports other potential challengers to Heller on the Democratic side could include the new Nevada Senate Majority Leader Aaron Ford (D-Las Vegas) and former state treasurer Kate Marshall.

Freshman Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D-NV04) is also considered to be a potential candidate.

No candidate has declared on the Democratic side to challenge Heller, who many observers predict would be tough to beat, especially during a midterm election.
