UNLV Wind Orchestra celebrates new album
The UNLV Wind Orchestra has a new album out: "Joe's Tango." They will perform music from it, joined by Distinguished Artist-in-Residence and principal trombonist for the New York Philharmonic, Joseph Alessi, and the internationally renowned brass quintet, Boston Brass.
Included: a transcription of the main theme from "Captain Blood" by Erich Korngold, Chick Corea's Concerto for Trombone (featuring Alessi), and Jorge Machain's Five Cities (with Boston Brass).
