UNLV jazz groups perform
The UNLV Jazz Concert Series features performances by exceptional groups from UNLV's School of Music, Division of Jazz and Commercial Music. This month, it's the Jazz Ensemble II and Maryland Parkway Vocal Ensemble.
Student musicians at UNLV have received over fifty DownBeat Magazine Student Music Awards since 2010, awards which are among the highest recognition in jazz education worldwide. UNLV Jazz ensembles and combos have performed at the acclaimed Monterey Jazz Festival, Village Vanguard and other notable venues throughout the nation.
