The Land Southward

The Land Southward
Above ground nuclear testing conducted by the United States government in the 1950s led to decades of suffering by those affected by fallout, termed "downwinders." In this adaptation of Darcy Hogan's nonlinear, critically-acclaimed play, a young writer travels to Southern Utah to investigate years of lies. Upon arrival, she's met with a shocking truth: that the American government intentionally conducted nuclear tests on the days when the wind was blowing in that direction, towards those whose religious beliefs would keep them compliant and quiet.
