This exhibition of art by Nevada-based artist, writer, curator, and educator ¡Katie B Funk! runs through March 13. There will be a Gallery Talk and Artist Reception on March 10, beginning at 6 p.m.

¡Katie B Funk! is an internationally exhibiting artist, writer, curator, and educator. She says she was born on a Friday night under a waning crescent moon in South Bend, Indiana. She got the chance to haphazardly construct a double-bottled tornado maker in preschool - a project that remains a pivotal core memory. Once a pile of Barbasol shaving cream was plopped in front of her to play with in the early days of kindergarten, ¡Katie B Funk! knew that making things out of something else was all she wanted to do in life.
