Reflexxxions: Words, Actions, Art
DC artist Jeffrey Everett and award-winning author Shawna Kenney, whose memoir is set in Washington, DC, will give an artist talk at the opening of their combined exhibit. Everett is displaying many of his band posters while Kenney is sharing some of her punk archive from the DC area of the 1980s.
Together they will lead a zine-making workshop on Saturday from 1 to 3 pm, during which local band The Dollheads will perform. The Saturday event is free to kids 15 and under, with the paid admission of an adult guardian.
Tickets sold at the door.
