MotherForce art exhibition

MotherForce art exhibition

MotherForce is a symbol of generative energy; an intersection of creative practice through the frame of motherhood. Clarice Tara Cuda examines the complexities of creative labor both transforming and informing identity. She says her experience of giving birth serves as a catalyst which investigates the struggle and beauty that coexist with creation and mothering.

Clarice Tara Cuda is a multidisciplinary artist who enjoys detailed and repetitive practices. She explores female narratives through process-driven work that emphasizes materiality. She received her BFA in Sculpture and Painting in 2019 from UNLV.

Gallery hours are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. Join her for the exhibition opening November 1st from 5 to 9 pm during UNLV’s ArtWalk. A closing reception will be held November 8 from 6 to 9 pm.
