May Pang photographs of John Lennon

May Pang photographs of John Lennon

Few people knew John Lennon as intimately as May Pang did. She was Lennon’s lover during the infamous “Lost Weekend” which lasted 18 months during late 1973 through 1975. During this highly creative time for Lennon, Pang took candid photos of him in comfortable, relaxed settings. A collection of these private photographs will be on display, and available for purchase, at The Desert Valley Gallery. May Pang will be at the gallery all weekend, meeting customers and telling stories behind the photos.

In 1973, Lennon and Pang stayed at Caesars Palace and attended a concert at the Flamingo featuring Fats Domino and Frankie Valli. They returned to Las Vegas in 1974, accompanied by musician Harry Nilsson, and stayed at the Riviera. Photos from these visits offer a fascinating glimpse into the couple’s life together during Lennon’s celebrated “Lost Weekend.”
