Learn about college savings plan at Aviators game
Folks from the Nevada Treasury will be at the game to provide info about the NVigate college savings programs on 529 Day, named after the 529 College Savings Plan. And, they will give away one of those plans during the game.
529 plans are college savings accounts that provide an opportunity to invest in a child’s future education. Funds invested in 529 accounts grow on a tax-deferred basis and distributions from the plan are not taxed as long as they are used for qualified educational expenses.
