Las Vegas Academy of the Arts presents its 14th annual Smith Center concert, Origins. A celebration of musical origins from cultures around the world by the school's music students, the performance features the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" euphonium soloist Sgt. 1st Class Christopher Buckley. He'll perform Dennis Llinás' "Sueños de Calle Ocho," with the composer in attendance. The evening will also showcase Dr. Nathan Southwick performing Maurice Ravel's "Tzigane" and acclaimed baritone André Chiang performing "Libera Me" from the Fauré Requiem.

All proceeds go toward funding the Clark County School District's Las Vegas Academy.
