AREA15 will host a Juneteenth celebration with poetry readings and performances including singer Zoe Johnson performing at 1:30 p.m., beat producer MayneFrame at 2:30 p.m., spoken word artist Poetic V at 4:30 p.m. and percussive dance ensemble Molodi at 6:30. There will be a curated vendor marketplace celebrating Black creators as well as a food truck. A mini history museum will also be on display, offering educational insights into the significance and lasting impact of Juneteenth.
