Jennifer Bellor teaches composition at UNLV, where she also runs the NEXTET new music series. She has a CD just out and she and some of her friends will be playing some works from it. It's a world of sound, memory, and imagination, a journey where nostalgia meets fantasy. Scored for clarinet, alto saxophone, vibraphone, and piano, the music blends contemporary classical, jazz, and commercial styles in a seamless, expressive sound world.
