In My Room: Student Reflections on the Time of Isolation
A Nevada Humanities Exhibition which showcases youth creativity and resilience, this event has curated art from the pandemic, through the eyes of local kids. The exhibit explores how isolation and distance education physically and emotionally impacted the youngest of us, and what these kids learned about themselves during that period of uncertainty. The pieces are typical of kids art — earnest and colorful — which belies the underlying maturity that comes from enduring a coming-of-age experience like the COVID lockdowns.
