The Helldorado Days Rodeo returns to downtown Las Vegas Nov. 8-9 at the Plaza's CORE Arena! As part of the event’s commitment to celebrating the history of Las Vegas and western culture, the Plaza is again sponsoring a children’s coloring contest. The rodeo event itself will feature bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, breakaway, and bareback riding, with prize purses totaling $40,000. This year will also include related western-themed events, like mutton busting and a Whiskerino contest, as well as a historical exhibit area.

General admission to the rodeo is free but RSVP is recommended online. New this year, the Plaza will offer guaranteed, elevated VIP seating for $20 per ticket plus taxes, also available for purchase online.
