From Flappers to Swifties: The Cultural Legacy of Clara Bow
The Reid Public History Institute is hosting this online forum about the original It girl, who spent some time in Southern Nevada at the Walking Box Ranch.
The moderator will be Dr. Deirdre Clemente, costume curator, historian of the 1920s, and associate director of the RPHI. The panel will include Clara Bow’s great grandchildren, one of her biographers, and film historian Mary R. Desjardins.
Free, but you do have to register.
A song on Taylor Swift's latest album is titled "Clara Bow," hence the Swifties reference in the forum title....
