Fallout Fringe Festival opens
Fallout Fringe Festival opens
The Fallout Fringe Festival, which says it is Las Vegas’ largest alternative performing arts festival, will have productions and performers from around the country as it takes over the Downtown Arts District for most of June. There will be over 35 productions, workshops, pop-up performances, and parties. The venues are Vegas Theatre Company, Third Street, Majestic Repertory Theatre, Cornish Pasty Co., and the newly opened Bizarre Bar. It runs through June 25.
The festival launch party is on June 3 from 7pm to 10pm at Goodman Plaza (525 S Main St.), There will be entertainment, food and beverage vendors, art booths, lawn games, and a chance to meet the artists and organizers that bring the festival to life. No charge.
The festival was launched as a collaborative effort to showcase the absurd, the questionable, and the daring theatre makers who color outside the lines. It is a place where artists can take risks, and test out new works in front of live audiences. Fringe Festivals are a place where anything can happen - and often does.
Tickets available only online. Full Festival Passes are available. Want to help? They can use volunteers.
