Get set to be enchanted by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. Debussy’s "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" tells the story of a faun who awakens from a nap and falls madly in love with a nymph. This brief piece (just nine minutes long) is considered one of the first examples of modern music.

In "Mother Goose," Ravel creates sumptuous music from classic fairy tales, including "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Fairy Garden. And Ravel's Piano Concerto in G Major is a favorite of audiences and performers, with its hints of jazz and Basque music. Alexandria Le will be the piano soloist.
