Small, amateur paleontologists rejoice: Dino Day at the Nevada State Museum was created with you in mind. Intended to complement the ongoing summer-long dinosaur exhibit at the Springs Preserve, this single-day event will feature crafts, fossil etches, and a reading and book signing by local author Nick Saines. In other words, rest easy knowing that you won’t have to dig for this pre-Pangea fun.
