CSN Woodwind and Saxophone Ensembles in concert
The ensembles will include music by American composers Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Patrick Glenn Harper in their programs, which will include something you probably have never heard before: Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with a saxophone ensemble taking the part of the orchestra. CSN Piano Professor Voltaire Verzosa will be the pianist.
The Ensembles include college students, middle and high school students who are also enrolled at CSN, and community musicians, some of whom are professional musicians. What instruments do they play? Flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, and percussion.
