Colors: A Concert Experience on Strings
Desert Opus returns to the museum for “Colors: A Concert Experience on Strings. Art and music converge in harmony in a performance exploring the expressive power of sound and color through works that span eras and styles – from the lyrical and contemplative to the bold and rhythmically dynamic.
Guests are invited to reflect on emotion, movement and form, celebrating the shared language of artistic expression and connection through the works of Claude Debussy, David Balakrishnan, Caroline Shaw and Samuel Barber, among others. Following the concert, a reception will be held with soft beverages available for attendees.
Performing will be violist Arturo Hernández Gómez, violinists James Anderson and Deborah Kim, and cellist David Warner.
