The Summerlin Library Outdoor patios will come to life during this festival featuring dynamic and colorful works from numerous local artists! Festivities include 3D and chalk artists, live entertainment, food trucks, face painting, balloon artists, stilt walkers, jugglers, hands-on crafting, shadow puppet shows, kids-only chalk zone, tarot card reader and a fan favorite Chalk Art Awards ceremony!

CHILDREN'S CRAFT CORNER

Feeling crafty? The whole family can enjoy hands-on crafting projects that are lots of fun! Presented by Dick Blick Art Materials along with the City of Las Vegas, Strong Future Technology Training Center. Crafts are available while supplies last!

KIDS CHALK ZONE
Children of all ages have a chance to explore their creativity and help create a one-of-a-kind piece of art in the Kids Chalk Zone!

ADULT CRAFT CORNER (ages 13 and up) Seating and supplies are limited. Classes held in the adult reference area of the library.

10:30am - Rock Art - Use acrylic markers to paint mini works of art on rocks.

11:30am - Flower Frames - Design your own picture frame using craft flowers, paint markers, and glue.

12:30pm - Greeting Cards with Carolyn Thompson - Come and make a beautiful greeting card or two!

MAIN STAGE EVENTS

10:30am - The Young Artists Orchestra of Las Vegas presents "The Music Box" - An outdoor symphonic experience featuring modern takes on popular music.

Noon - 12:15pm - Children's Storytime
Celebrate art with us in this interactive story time on the main stage. All ages welcome.

1:00pm - Las Vegas Kaminari Taiko
Come and have fun in the sun with the energizing beats of the Kaminari Taiko Drummers.

2:00pm - Chalk Art Awards
Visit the Summerlin Library "Get a Library Card" tent anytime throughout the day and make sure to vote for your favorite chalk artwork, then stay for the awards ceremony to see if your favorite took the prize! Voting will close at 1:00pm.
