Kim Foster is a James Beard Award-winning author whose newest book is The Meth Lunches: Food and Longing in an American City. In her talk she will examine the ways food can signify and complicate dysfunction in Las Vegas (she lives here) for both individuals and communities – those with empty tables, and those with full plates.
