At the Heart of Nevada: Basin and Range
To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Basin and Range National Monument, curators Paula Jacoby-Garrett, Julian Kilker, and Checko Salgado, working with the Friends of Basin and Range National Monument, curated a photography, video, and multimedia exhibition documenting this remote region of Nevada.
The Basin and Range National Monument was created by Presidential Proclamation on July 10, 2015, because of its unique geologic, natural, cultural, and scientific resources and values. The Basin and Range National Monument is located several hours by car north of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Nevada Humanities Program Gallery is open for viewing Monday–Friday, 1:00-5:00 pm, and on the first Friday of the month until 10:00 pm for First Friday events.
