At the Heart of Nevada: Basin and Range is a photography and video exhibition by Paula Garrett, Julian Kilker, and Checko Salgado marking the ten-year anniversary of Basin and Range National Monument. The three artists worked with the Friends of Basin and Range National Monument to create this exhibition documenting this remote region of Nevada. The monument was created by Presidential Proclamation on July 10, 2015, because of its unique geologic, natural, cultural, and scientific resources and values.

The exhibition also includes works by Fred Bell, Jim Boone, Glenn A. Davis, Steve Dudrow, Myron Hensel, Mike Hill, Rayette Martin, and Teresa Skye. The show runs through November 19.

There will be a reception and curators’ talk on October 8, with the talk at 6:00. Free, but they'd like you to reserve your spot.
