Based upon the book of the same name, The Lifespan of a Fact tells the story of John D’Agata and Jim Fingal - one a talented, transcendent essayist and the other the fact-checker assigned to scrutinize his latest essay for a once prominent but slowly failing magazine.

As the future of the publication hangs in the balance, Jim and John battle head-to-head in a comedic yet fascinating battle over fact versus truth, art versus commerce.
