As the valley's pandemic-remediation measures began causing deep financial problems for Las Vegans suddenly out of work, some of their neighbors stepped in. This homeowner in the John S. Park neighborhood converted a free library to a small food pantry for those in need.

Some people — for instance, these folks in the southwest valley — turned their garages into food distribution points.

Every bit helps, as this homeowner in the Huntridge area knows.
