Republicans Reign In Washoe County

In Nevada, the political parties are divided between a geographic line in the sand: Democrats live in Clark County, Republicans live in the rural counties.

And they come together in Washoe County -- the only swing county in a swing Western state. But Washoe County may be changing. Recent figures released by the county's registrar show that Republicans have taken a commanding lead when it comes to voter registration, and now hold an advantage of 6,000 voters.

Does the big change signal a permanent shift? And how will it influence statewide races for Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor?
