We've heard about the financing of what could be the largest public works project in history - a nuclear material repository at Yucca Mountain. Until now, Congress has spent most of the 7 billion dollars on studies, but over the next few months a joint House and Senate committee will consider a spending plan that calls for some of the first major capital investment for transportation of the nation's unwanted nuclear material to Yucca Mountain. KNPR's Ky Plaskon visited a small community designated to receive nuclear waste on its way to Yucca Mountain.
