How would you describe yourself to voters?

I am a conservative republican who is passionate about protecting your Constitutional rights and civil liberties. Government has a proper role, but not an ever expanding influence in our lives. As Americans we are free and I intend to protect our freedoms.

What do you see as the top issues in this campaign?

Education reform and election integrity.

In your opinion, how would you rate the state’s response to the pandemic? Why?

The Governor abused his emergency powers. The 9th Circuit found his actions to be unconstitutional. No emergency lasts for 2 years. The state legislature should have stepped in an voted to restrict his powers. That's democracy.

Education and local government officials have long asked lawmakers to change the way the state assesses property taxes. That includes raising the current tax threshold. Should lawmakers consider raising those thresholds? If not, what is the best way for governments to raise money for local programs?

No property tax increases.
