How would you describe yourself to voters?

I am a voting Republican for 35 years who believes that the US Constitution is the basis for are legal system and that the framers were believers that the right they describe in the Bill of Rights do not come from the government but from the Creator of all things.

What do you see as the top issues in this campaign?

Fair and honest elections are critical so that the voters will can be accurately represented in government decisions like making sure we don't have illegal use of executive power to shut down business, churches and schools for extended periods. Parents are concerned with what and how their children are being taught in the government run schools and about the poor academic results that our Nevada students are achieving compared to most of the other states in this country. Also, while not an issue that the state government has much power to affect, voters are concerned with the challenges we are facing in our economy related to rising prices for food, gas and housing, and the failure of wages to keep up with the inflation caused by action and inaction on the part of the Federal Government.

In your opinion, how would you rate the state’s response to the pandemic? Why?

In my opinion the Nevada state government's response to the pandemic, as was the case in most states controlled by the Democrat party was very poor in the fact of prolonging restrictions on personal liberty and enforcing mandates long after the usefulness and practicality of such measure had passed.

Education and local government officials have long asked lawmakers to change the way the state assesses property taxes. That includes raising the current tax threshold. Should lawmakers consider raising those thresholds? If not, what is the best way for governments to raise money for local programs?

The question assumes that we need to raise more money when it probably makes more sense to study ways to get better results from the money we are currently spending before considering additional programs or funding.
