In your opinion, how would you rate the state’s response to the pandemic? Why?

Poor. Lockdown was a bad idea and should have only lasted the shortest time possible. We should have followed Florida's lead. Another state like Nevada where tourism is a key economic driver. Florida was recently cited as the sixth best state for their Covid response. "Lockdown" states like CA, NY and NJ were among the five worst.

Education and local government officials have long asked lawmakers to change the way the state assesses property taxes. That includes raising the current tax threshold. Should lawmakers consider raising those thresholds? If not, what is the best way for governments to raise money for local programs?

This assumes that money can't be redirected from current programs that are ineffective. I am opposed to new taxes to increase spending.
