Kalua Pig Burrito at Braddah’s Island Style
You’re probably used to building your own burrito, but not with sweet and smoky meats these. The newly arrived Braddah’s combines the convenience of your favorite fast, fresh Mexican-American eatery with traditional island flavors, so feel free to customize as you wish, but we can’t help ourselves when it comes to tender, shredded kalua pig. This savory soul food’s saltiness blends perfectly with the house-made charred pineapple and tomatillo salsa. Toss in some crunchy cabbage and you’ve got a powerful burrito with the full spectrum of flavors and textures. Take that, Chipotle!

The Gotham at Five50 Pizza Bar
There’s a whole lotta eats you’re gonna need to chomp at chef Shawn McClain’s casual new spot at Aria, but since it’s a pizza joint, the Gotham is the best place to start. It’s everything you love about pizza reduced to a single pie: sixteen inches of rounded beauty, a crust that’s thin enough to be crisp but substantial enough to be chewy, a generous slathering of mozzarella and grana padano cheeses, a boldly flavored tomato sauce, and enough meat —pepperoni, sausage and salami — to cover the whole thing in a spicy sheen of meaty perfection. The first bite will have you wondering if you teleported from the Strip to Little Italy.
